I. Spiritual accountability will help us keep pressing on for the Lord. (2 Chron. 24:1-16)
A. Holding each other accountable kept Joash and Jehoiada on track.
B. Spiritual accountability will keep us on track.
II. Finding people to answer to after we lose that accountability will help prevent -backsliding. (2 Chron. 24:17-22)
A. Joash did not find spiritual advisors and committed idolatry.
B. We must have people to answer to after we lose accountability or we may backslide.
III. If we reject spiritual accountability God will bring judgment. (2 Chron. 24:23-27)
A. God judged Joash for idolatry.
B. God will judge us for not putting him first.
