Partnership in Slovakia

One of our most cherished partnerships is with churches in Slovakia.

Jozef and Anna Abrman, along with their two children, live and work in Nove Mesto, Slovakia. Jozef is a native of Slovakia who left under the communist regime, but returned just after the fall of communism to plant churches and win believers in his native land. God has greatly blessed their ministry and has allowed Jozef to bring the Gospel message to many in schools, businesses and even government, as well as through a growing church and a new church plant.

Trinity folks have helped in this work in a number of ways, especially when people from NASA (engineers, scientists and an astronaut) have gone over to speak to youth, school and civic groups to show that faith is not incompatible with a scientific orientation.

Over ten years ago Michelle Murray began taking students to Slovakia to teach English language camps (through fun!) for Jozef in the city of Trencin. Since that time we have also begun to do camps in other parts of the country with like-minded churches and organizations. The Slovakia team typically goes over in late June and stays until mid-to-late August, teaching four or five one week English camps where the Gospel of Jesus is freely shared.

We would love to give you more information about being involved, especially if you are a teen or young adult who is committed to being a wholehearted follower of Jesus.
