As part of our commitment to share the love of Jesus within our community and around the world, we support a number of overseas missionaries and local organizations through prayer, service, financial gifts, and encouragement. We also equip and send groups on short term missions trips. Locally we also support the District ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America (Texas Oklahoma District) and we support many families and individuals both in our church body and our community by meeting needs through our benevolence fund.

Here are a few words and/or links giving information about some of our missionaries and other ministries we support.

Jozef and Anna Abrman. Jozef and Anna, along with their two children, live and work in Nove Mesto, Slovakia. Jozef is a native of Slovakia who left under the communist regime, but returned just after the fall of communism to plant churches and win believers in his native land. God has greatly blessed their ministry and has allowed Jozef to bring the Gospel message to many in schools, businesses and even government, as well as through a growing church and a new church plant

Robin and Debbie Rushing. Robin and Debbie Rushing work in support of the ongoing ministry of the Abrman family, and have their own ministries and outreach in Slovakia.

Layo Leiva. Layo and his wife Luchi have worked for Campus Crusade (Cru) in Latin America since 1978. In February 2010, Layo was designated Area Team Leader for the combined areas that now form Latin America, providing leadership to over 550 full-time staff in 24 countries. A highly capable Leadership Team made up of leaders from Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Bolivia, and the U.S. co-lead with the Leivas this key region of the world.

Tom and Amy Morrow. Tom and Amy moved to Zambia a number of years ago and have had a variety of ministries, including outreach and discipleship in the local tribes and wide ranging evangelistic endeavors. In the past few years, however, their focus has been on building and running an orphanage for some of the many Zambian children left without parents by hardships and the AIDS epidemic.

This is implemented by the PARTNERSHIP of God’s people everywhere.”

Community Pregnancy Center of Pasadena. The CPC is an outreach to women in crisis. They provide free pregnancy tests and they share the Good News with every client, and encourage women to decide against aborting their babies. Praise God that so many people have received Christ and have chosen to save their babies. Pray that God would provide funding and volunteers for the center.

Hope for Youth. Hope for Youth works with inner city youth in Houston. They provide after school tutoring, evangelistic programs, and fun opportunities for the kids. Pray that God would help them to reach many young people with the message of the Gospel, and would help them in discipling and training.

In addition to all of the above, we also support local families and individuals in need, both within Trinity Fellowship and in our community. Last year we were privileged to give nearly $50,000 this way, mostly in gifts of $50 to $100. We praise God that this generous ministry is supported entirely by voluntary gifts from within our congregation and from a few generous friends
