Scripture Reading:
Mark 4:35-41  And the same day when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side”…. And there arose a great storm of wind and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that it was already filling.  But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow.  And they woke Him and said to Him “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. And He said to them “Why are you so fearful?  How is it that you have no faith?”

Psalm 56:3  When I am afraid, I will trust in You.

Isaiah 26:3-4  You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Isaiah 12:2  Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation.

Psalm 57:1  Be merciful to me O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until the storms of destruction pass by.

Psalm 37:1-5  Fret not yourself because of evildoers….trust in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.
