This week we continue our series in the Psalms, “Exalt the Lord our God.” Our text will be Psalm 95, “Learning to Worship” and we will worship in response to this Psalm’s commands to sing, worship, and bow down. Our visual theme will be the rocky California coast, for both seas and mountains are mentioned in Psalm 95:4-5.

Come, Let us Worship and Bow Down
Psalm 95:1–7 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! 2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! 3For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 5The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 6Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! 7For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
Psalm 33:1–5 Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. 2Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! 3Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. 4For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. 5He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
