Knit Together, Trinity’s ministry for families interested in foster care or adoption, will be beginning the New Year with an opportunity to watch (or re-watch) the Trust-Based-Relational-Intervention (TBRI) seminar from the Purvis Institute. TBRI provides a great set of tools for working with and encouraging kids from broken places.
The binge watch will be held from 6:30 to 10:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020. We will not be able to provide babysitting for this event, so some families may have to send only one parent to the binge watch. The location is yet to be decided and will be partly based on how many people want to come. Please contact Traci Winkler or Gail DeGray if you are interested.
The normal Knit Together dinner will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the church. We will discuss the highlights of the TBRI materials. Babysitting and dinner for everyone will be provided.
