Who / What / Why?
Indelible Grace is at the forefront of a growing movement to “to help the church recover the tradition of putting old hymns to new music for each generation, and to enrich our worship with a huge view of God.” They have produced six albums of old hymns in contemporary settings, and have influenced many others. Artists such as Sandra McCracken and Matthew Perryman Jones have regularly contributed to their albums.
Matthew Smith has been involved with the Indelible Grace ministry from the beginning, and leads their touring band. He has also released several solo albums of contemporary hymns.
