Things are coming together for hosting the Family Promise families from December 16-23, 2012.
We met with Mary Kay from Family Promise on Tuesday and talked through the week in some detail. As we have explained previously, most of the volunteer coverage needed for this ‘trial run’ will be provided by other Family Promise churches. Mary Kay showed a grid of people providing meals and covering the evening and overnight times, and it was mostly filled out.
However, we still hope to provide observers and helpers so that we can learn firsthand how the ministry works. You can sign up for those spots below. We will also be providing some of the supplies needed to make the week work, specifically sheets and blankets. You can sign up to help with these below as well.
