We are happy to announce a new prayer meeting and three opportunities this fall to worship and pray with your brothers and sisters in Christ

Trinity’s women have had one or more prayer times for several years (Mom’s Praying, ). But Trinity’s men have not had a formal time of prayer together except for a few minutes once a month at the end of the Men’s Accountability Breakfast. At the most recent of these breakfasts, Noah Jackson challenged us to go beyond this status quo and begin praying together. He volunteered to be at the church, in the prayer room on Tuesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. for one hour of prayer. We would like to encourage all the men of the church to consider this opportunity. The Guys Bible Study on Tuesday will be finishing up their study a little earlier each week so they can join the prayer time. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor God and support one another through prayer.
We hope that you are able to make all three of these worship opportunities as music is one of the most powerful tools in fighting discouragement, disunity and spiritual darkness.
Evening of Prayer and Praise
September 28, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Noah Jackson will be leading us in worship, and we will be praying for one another and for the needs of the church. This will be a great time to set aside the concerns of the week and focus on the praise of God’s goodness and our need of his continued intervention.
Pick-your-favorites Worship
October 15th, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This worship service can include hymns, scripture songs, brand new contemporary songs, old favorites, songs that are unique to Trinity that you love and whatever else(Christian) that you would like. However, because it will not be just piano, but an entire worship band, we need to know what songs you would like to sing ahead of time so we can learn and practice the songs. Please e-mail Hannah Gronseth at GronsethPiano (at) gmail.com to request 1-5 songs that you would like us to sing this evening. We will attempt to do every single request. However, if there are too many songs to sing all of them, or if they aren’t really singable as a congregational, we will use the input in future church services as much as possible. This will be a wonderful opportunity for us to hear from you about the songs that are speaking to your hearts and also for you to get to sing these songs. The deadline for song requests is Monday, October 1st.
Evening of Hymns
November 10th, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The second opportunity to create your own worship service will be an evening of hymns on Saturday, November 10th at 7 p.m. This will be an informal all-request evening where we pull out the hymnals and just call out the hymns we would like to sing. If you would like to help play the piano for the hymns, just e-mail Hannah Gronseth ahead of time and we’ll trade out pianists throughout the evening. If you love reading harmonies, please come and sing loud! If you love listening to four-part harmonies or singing the great melodies old hymns, we would love to have you! All you have to do for this evening is show up ready to worship God. This was a blast the last couple of times we did it, so we hope you can make it!
