A few folks asked about the church that was featured in the background images of this Sunday’s message (September 2, 2012). It is the Church of the Good Shepherd on Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. It was built by settlers in the Mackenzie Basin of central New Zealand as a ‘cooperating parish’ for several denominations. Church services are still held in the church and it is especially popular for weddings. Anyone interested?
It is, as you saw this morning, wildly photogenic: (click on each picture for a larger version; search the web for even more amazing shots!)
