Heart Prep for Sunday, August 26th

This Sunday we will be studying 1st Peter 1:17-2:3. Verses 18 and 19 say “knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.” Our worship will focus on Jesus as the Lamb of God, the Lamb who was slain for our salvation!

Crown Him with Many Crowns – There isn’t a Youtube video for the Fernando Ortega version, and I just don’t have time this week to make one. Here is the traditional version with lyrics Crown Him with Many Crowns. If you want to buy Fernando Ortega’s version it is available on Amazon and iTunes.

The Sands of Time are Sinking This is off the Indelible Grace Live Hymn Sing album. The harmonica solo is amazing, but I don’t think Buddy Green is going to be able to make it to church Sunday.
