Philippians 1:3-6. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Paul was a man of prayer, praying for people often.
How is your prayer life? When was the last time you thanked God for someone?
Paul had joy in his heart when he prayed for them, despite the fact that he was in prison. Hardships often make a person BETTER or BITTER. Paul let the hardships make him better.
God works all things out for His glory. He is working in every situation. The question is, are we looking for Him? Jesus is always with us, and always working in to grow us to be more like Him.
Extra for quiet time:
Read Matthew 7:7-11 Are you a prayer warrior? Do you seek God with all of your heart, daily?
How much time do you pray each day?
Are you in constant communication with Jesus?
How did you react to the last trial you where in?
What do you focus on in times of hardships and trials?
Read 1 Thessalonians 4:1-18 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22. Jesus is coming!
