Heart Prep for Sunday, January 22nd

I’m looking forward to starting the final segment of the book of Revelation this Sunday, January 22nd. Actually we’ll be starting with a review of chapters 1 to 14, which we studied last spring and the spring before. So it will be a whirlwind tour. One of the things we’ll mention is that at every critical juncture of Revelation, we see worship. We’ll be worshiping with some of those texts and with some of the songs we’ve sung over the past two years – but also with one or two new ones. Here’s the plan:

God of Wonders

Holy, Holy, Holy

This is new – you might want to listen to it a couple of times: The Sands of Time are Sinking Hannah says: “won’t do it exactly this way but you’ll get the tune.”

We Will Glorify

The God of Abraham Praise. Here’s a link to a previous blog entry I did on this hymn: Early Heart Prep for Sunday, October 9th

On Jordan’s Stormy Banks This is the Jars of Clay version. I suspect we’ll do it a little faster.

Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah Except for the unaccountable substitution of ‘redeemer’ for ‘Jehovah’ this is a pretty good version.

Offertory:Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand Hannah says: “poor recording/rendition but you’ll get the tune!:)”

Benediction:
