For many years I’ve wanted to be able to present video of sermons. I try to make the visuals that go with the sermon an important part of the communication process, and I think when you hear the words without seeing the visuals, you probably (depending on your learning style) get less out of the message. But just showing the visuals with the audio track gets boring. So recently (last November) I videotaped myself preaching. My thought was to combine the preaching video with the graphics in order to improve both the visual and verbal communication.
Below is my first cut at what this might look like. I’ve divided the Psalm 99 message, “Transcendence and Immanence” into two parts. Please let me know what you think of the presentation approach, and what you would do to make it better.
