Our Advent 2008 preaching series will be the ‘exposition’ of some familiar Christmas Carols – or rather, the exposition of Scriptures alluded to in these Carols. to help you enjoy this series we have created this playlist of some of our favorite versions of the six carols we will study (five Sundays and Christmas Eve).

We have selected one vocal and one instrumental version of each Carol. for a few we have included a third selection which modifies the traditional words or the traditional tune to good effect.

I’ve had all kinds of trouble getting this particular video, from way back on June 15th, to go online. Google Video has been really finicky every time we try to use it, and this video has failed repeatedly.  However, it uploaded well and seems to work on a video service called ‘viddler’.  Here is the link:
